The wind

Strong and powerful

Has only one purpose

To feel adrenaline

A deep chord strung just right

To exert myself to such great heights

More than a natural phenomena

It’s a purpose

A wonderful crash for all the wrong things

Ride away from the

Diminishing, jagged

Fresh pain

The body,

A washing machine

Can't see straight from cycling

Through susceptibilities

And a crystal sensation

For a replete, clear psyche

That’s the reflection

When the wind collides with your principles
